Prayerful, obedient and true.

“In the Name of Jesus” may my years pass by,

In the company of disciples not few.

“In the Name of Jesus” may my days be spent,

Always focused on You.

Father,

I don’t want to muddle through
But trust in You as my Guide.

I want to live in the valley with purpose

By faith in the One at Your side.

Father,

Hear my cry for Your Spirit’s strength

To live each day as your child.

To be known by You as a faithful son

Through the One whom sinners reviled.

"At the Cross"

At the Cross was Your love and wrath

Meted out upon our only Path—

To heaven and oneness with You.

At the Cross Your grace was proven:

Costly, sacrificial and complete;

Never needed to be repeated.

And we who call Him Savior,

Is He really our Lord

If in His steps we refuse to follow?
